As it was so cold today, I was glad to be inside sewing. I started on the covered cushions for a friend. I love her chosen fabric. It will look great at her beach house. She purchased the fabric from IKEA. For some other inspiring reative spaces, have a look over at

I like it too! Boldly neutral, but with a touch of colour. Thanks for your comments on my blog!
ReplyDeleteI am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous of that fabric I love it!!
ReplyDeleteYou know what? Some people actually turn their noses up at IKEA.There is nothinng wrong with IKEA fabric! I was in a coffee shop the other day that had some cushions on a seat that a couple of wormen were discussing. Is it "Cloth" they discussed, No, i think it is "Bird". They opened it up and the cushion was IKEA! Saying that, I support handmade over mass produced. I am so conflicted! You have done an excellent job on theose cushions. Beautiful work

You have gotta love the cold weather...great excuse for staying indoors and working at those creative pursuits. We have a competition running here in WA at Ikea ...make something with their fabric line and have a chance to win $1500 voucher.I am off there next week.
